Have one last Southie Sunday at Coppersmith

South Boston staple Coppersmith will be shutting its doors on Sunday—but not before one last hurrah. Opening at 10am on Jan. 16, this local hotspot will be welcoming folks for a final send-off, streaming the NFL Playoffs on its projection screens and bringing back an old brunch fave as a weekend special: its hangover tots with peppercorn gravy and chorizo. The restaurant and bar, known for its outdoor rooftop and indoor food trucks, has been a neighborhood go-to and the site of many Southie Sunday shenanigans since it opened in 2015. Its building is being repurposed as a new development, which has forced the eatery to close, so be sure to show your appreciation for the last six years off service and give the place a proper goodbye.
