With St. Patrick's Day on the horizon, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library welcomes those who want to learn a little more about the journey of the city’s Irish immigrants with its Celtic Bells – The Irish in Boston. This free event on Mar. 8 from 10:30-11:30am brings you along on the historical adventure, weaving in songs and poems of work, humor, protest, and longing (both for home and to belong in America). You’ll enjoy the lively sounds of the fiddle, bodhran, banjo, flute, guitar, and bagpipes. The program is free, but reservations are still required by registering here or calling (617) 514-1644 and leaving a detailed message.
