Grand Kyiv Ballet's Swan Lake

Back by popular demand, the Ukraine's Grand Kyiv Ballet returns to Boston for two back-to-back performance nights of Swan Lake on Feb. 19 and Feb. 20 at 7pm at the Emerson Colonial Theatre. The independent touring ballet company of Ukrainian ballet dancers will perform the beloved ballet masterpiece known for its stunning choreography, intricate set design, and Tchaikovsky's captivating music. The well-known ballet is a favorite among theatergoers, as the story of a prince who falls in love with a beautiful swan princess, Odette, who is under the spell of a sorcerer. Part of the tour’s proceeds will go to restoring the Main Ballet Academy of Ukraine and repairing the children's dormitory.
