Hood Park

Time Out says

A former dairy plant–turned–mixed-use development, Hood Park has condo buildings, office spaces and pedestrian-level shops and amenities. Notably, it's home to Urban Wild, an adult-oriented playground with bowling, bars, live music and more. Like many of Boston's newer live-work-play developments are, the one-acre Hood Park is set on a green space that sees a variety of pop-up programming designed to bring people in, from art exhibits and exercise classes to a massive Halloween festival launching in fall 2024.

What’s on

Boston's Wicked Haunt Fest

Boston’s Wicked Haunt Fest is a sprawling two-acre immersive Halloween experience with everything from chilling haunted walk-through experiences to an Oktoberfest beer garden. The centerpieces of the festival are three haunted walk-through experiences, with "Hollywood-caliber" details like professionally trained scare actors, 16-foot animatronics and tons of unexpected frights. Creative director Carl Rugato has worked in entertainment for decades with big names like Busch Gardens and SeaWorld Parks, so you won't find any sheet-covered ghosts here. Tickets start at $25 per person and offer a variety of scary and non-spooky activities for all ages. Read more about it here.
