There’s no doubt about it: 2019 is a banner year for LGBTQI visibility in America. Just look at the queer stars and narratives celebrated in mainstream media, and openly gay politicians running for office. It’s fitting then that this year’s Boston Pride theme is ‘Looking Back, Loving Forward’. Bostonians of all walks of life are invited to celebrate Pride at the many events going on throughout June. These include the Boston Dyke March on June 7 and annual Pride Parade on June 8, which is followed by the flagship Pride Festival and free concert headlined by Todrick Hall.
