Making things easier for yourself on Thanksgiving is definitely something to be thankful for. Boston chefs and restaurants are here to help, with plenty of options for heat-and-serve holiday meals. Whether it’s a full feast or a la carte sides to supplement your spread, make sure to order Thanksgiving to-go ahead of time. The Colonnade Hotel's Director of Food & Beverage, Nicholas Calias, offers an easy way to skip the hours of cooking on Thanksgiving with his holiday to-go menu. A la carte offerings include butternut squash bisque, roasted turkey with gravy, wild mushroom and brioche stuffing, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, haricot verts, cranberry chutney, gravy, and Caesar salad. Whole pies (pecan, apple, and pumpkin) are also available for purchase. Orders must be placed here or by calling (617) 425-3400 by November 16 for pick up on November 22 (cold) or November 23 (hot).

Leave the roasting pan in the cabinet because Catalyst is here to take care of Thanksgiving. The Cambridge restaurant is offering an extensive menu of take-home items for the holiday. Purists can stick to tradition with dishes like whole roasted turkey, candied yams and herb stuffing, while foodie-focused families can opt for more elevated options, including truffle whipped potatoes, Rohan duck breast with fig gastrique and crab dip. (Not to mention, just about everyone can get behind the array of homey dessert options, such as apple, s’mores, pecan and pumpkin pies, chocolate chip cookies and brownies).

If you’re taking care of the turkey, but that’s about it, let Stillwater provide the rest of your Thanksgiving meal. The downtown restaurant is offering a selection of delicious, home-style side dishes to complete your holiday dinner. Amongst the items available for takeout (either individually or as a full package for up to eight people): sour cream garlic chive mashed potatoes, classic mac n cheese, creamy turkey gravy, roasted mushroom sage stuffing, roasted fall veggies with goat cheese and bourbon maple butter, and homemade garlic parm rolls with salted butter. Round out your feast with a perfectly seasonal dessert, like their Dutch apple pie, caramel pecan fudge brownie pie, both available in two sizes. Order online.

Eataly is offering a wide range of items for Thanksgiving pre-order. In addition to the traditional turkey, you can go full Italia with items like a spread of salumi and formaggi, aperitivi, freshly made pasta and breads, house-made sauces and dolci. If you're not looking to lift a finger this fall, you can also opt for the Back Bay establishment's fully-prepared dinners for four or eight people, which include roasted maple-syrup-brined, bone-in turkey breast, sauteed broccoli rabe, focaccia stuffing and more. Order before November 19 for pickup between November 22 and 24.

Everyone knows that dessert is the best part of a feast. French-inspired boulangerie (and little to-go sis of Coquette) Cocorico, located at the Seaport’s Omni Boston Hotel, and its head pastry chef Mai Nguyen will be offering Thanksgiving pies this year for you to bring home to your guests. And if you say you baked these slices of heaven of Bourbon Apple with Almond Streusel, Brown Butter Pecan, and Pumpkin, we won’t judge. Available for pre-order November 17 through 23 under Catering with 48 hours’ notice.

Located inside the famous Liberty Hotel, Chef Daniel Kenney and the CLINK. team will be offering a Take 'n Bake option to celebrate the upcoming holiday. Available for at home enjoyment and pick-up on November 22, the meal will feed six to 10 guests and includes a 10- to 12-pound pasture raised herb stuffed whole turkey, sides, and dessert. Additional dishes will be available to add a la carte.

Summer Shack

This Thanksgiving, Summer Shack’s Cambridge and Boston locations will offer a variety of to-go options that your holiday guests will be sure to enjoy. Available for pick-up on November 22 from noon to 6 p.m., offerings include a 16-lb. turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread stuffing, butternut squash, and cranberry sauce. Winchester’s A Tavola Chef/owner Joe Carli and his team in the kitchen are sending you home with plenty of sides to sit alongside your prized bird. Dig into cranberry relish, sausage stuffing, roasted heirloom squash, Brussels sprouts, ginger glazed carrots, roasted fingerling potatoes, and a sweet potato purée. The crowd favorite, cacio e pepe spaghetti squash, is also making a much requested appearance on the menu, and the team is offering suggested to-go wine pairings by the bottle. All orders must be emailed to info@atavolawinchester.com by November 16 for pick up on November 22 or 23.
