Harvard Square is home to some of the finest minds in the world—and the tastiest pizza in town. Since 2020, Source has been firing up Neapolitan-style pizza that’s tempted even the most diehard of downtowners to make the journey across the river into Cambridge. While owner Daniel Roughan and executive chef Brian Kevorkian place an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients to set their pizzas apart, the real differentiator here is the dough. Made onsite from a seriously spoiled “sister” sourdough starter, the bready base of these pies produce a bubbly, crispy crust with a satisfying chew. While fan favorites—like its highly Instagrammable, pepperoni masterpiece with vin cotto—have made converts out of many Bostonians, Source keeps bringing in the crowds with novel combos featuring fresh, seasonal produce.
