Time Out says

Shy Bird is an all-day café and rotisserie-bar hatched from the team behind Watertown's Branch Line. The menu at this growing local group, which includes the Kendall Square original and a Fenway location in the works, goes from breakfast to dinner. Throughout the day, various menus are centered on rotisserie chicken, egg sandwiches, chopped salads, fried chicken and wine bar-friendly plates like shrimp Louis lettuce cups and hanger steak a la plancha.

With a patio, big booths, high-top tables and gem-toned bars with brass fixtures, Shy Bird is as lovely for lunching with your laptop as it is for after-work dinner with friends. The Southie location actually offers remote work deals of breakfast or lunch with all-you-can-drink coffee. From 4–6pm on weekdays, it's Shy Hour, with .50-cent SB dunks (the eminently dippable house chicken nugget) and other happy hour-esque food specials.
