Owner-chef Robert Harris has changed up the Season to Taste experience (and location!) with a more casual, accessible approach to New England cuisine with Southern American and European influences. The stylish space, now closer to Harvard Square on Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, has a big bar with excellent seasonal cocktails, such as the rich and layered margarita Pura Vida (mezcal, toasted pepita orgeat, persimmon aperitivo, pomegranate molasses, salt and lime). Chef Samuel Day, an alum of Puritan & Co., oversees the nightly lineup of creative comfort food, like a Scotch duck egg, Parisian gnocchi and stuffed quail with "drunken cherries" and dirty rice. A six-seat chef's counter pulls from the best to offer a nightly tasting menu.
