A cutie bistro in the east side of South Boston, Petula's comes from industry powerhouse Rachel Titcomb, who was formerly the general manager at neighborhood faves Loco, Fat Baby and Nautilus. At Petula's, the airy room with floor-to-ceiling windows is a serene spot for lunch or dinner, with spins on bistro classics such as steak frites, truffle cacio e pepe, made-to-order pizzas and a variety of seasonal salads and sandwiches. The bar does a mean Aperol spritz or espresso martini, or try one of the seasonal drinks priced at $16 and under. Weekend brunch plays hits like biscuits and gravy, eggs Florentine and more. On Friday, it's jazz lunch with $1 oysters until 3pm.
