Cartoonishly pretty fruit pies line the window of this otherwise plain little bakery and coffee shop. Savoury tarts, cookies and more beckon from the display cases inside, all bearing testament to owner Renee McLeod's wonderful way with pastry and dough of all descriptions. Resistance, of course, is not merely futile but foolish; the scones, in particular, are sublime.
