As more and more of us head back to the office, the age-old question of ‘what are we getting for lunch?’ is creeping back into our days. Luckily, there are some amazing restaurants available to order delivery from. Check out our list of nine hot restaurants that you didn’t know delivered at lunch!

1. Mike and Patty’s

Known for their breakfast sandwiches, Mike and Patty’s is a surprisingly great lunch choice as well. Order anything from their menu for a decidedly not-sad-desk lunch this week! If you have never tried one of their addicting sandwiches, go for the Fancy or the Grilled Crack and you won’t be disappointed.

2. Stephanie’s on Newbury

This popular ladies-who-lunch spot also delivers during the work week. So even if you can’t enjoy a glass of rosé on their patio, you can enjoy their tuna tartare or clam chowder at your desk! Try ordering from Stephanie’s on Newbury.

3. Vejigantes Restaurant

Vejigantes is a local favorite Puerto Rican restaurant, and they actually do deliver at lunchtime as well. What better cure for the sad desk lunch than an order of sopas or Churrasco con Salsa Chimichurri?

4. Trident Booksellers & café

This always trendy Newbury Street café is a place to lounge for hours, but when you don’t have that kind of time but want to feel as if you do, search for this place. You can even order a book with your lunch too. So, if you’re working from home and want to really take a well-deserved lunch break, order a sandwich and the “Booksellers Choice,” and a meal and a new read will show up on your doorstep.

5. Lola Burger

Lola Burger is by the same folks who operate Lola 41 on Nantucket, so bring some of that Nantucket je ne sais quoi to your desk this week. Try the 50/50 Burger or the Lamb Burger for a serious pick me up on a hectic day.

6. Sip Wine Bar & Kitchen

Did you know that Sip delivers at lunchtime? This trendy downtown wine bar is known for its large patio and fun atmosphere, but luckily we can all take some of that home with us when we order it to our doors.

7. Café Bonjour

One of the cutest cafés downtown, Café Bonjour is also just a few taps away. If you’re craving one of their breakfast plates or smoothies, just tap away and it will all be at your doorstep shortly.

8. Troquet on South

This stylish restaurant in the Leather District is usually the type of place you’d bring a date. But if you have a date with your desk all day, then perhaps you should treat yourself instead by ordering online.

9. Bootleg Special

Last but not least, this South End favorite is also a place you probably didn’t know you could order from at lunchtime. Bootleg Special serves up some of Boston’s best seafood and when nothing else will do, place your order to have all of this southern charm brought right to your door.
