Provence, not Paris, is the inspiration for Miel's 24/7 hotel kitchen, which mostly does justice to a menu designed by Michelin-starred French chef Jacques Chibois: mussels in any guise are a must, as is the cold berry soup with candied olives. The regional theme may or may not explain (or excuse) the atypically frou-frou, countrified decor - but a stunning view over Boston Harbor, from inside or out on the patio, more than makes amends.
