Wonderfully shadowy, looking as if it might belong on the corner of some dusty Mexican plaza, Ken Oringer's taqueria nonetheless caters largely to Yanquis (though not, mind you, to Yankees - Fenway Park isn't even half a block away). But, like its siblings Uni and Toro, it's authentic unto itself. Lovingly crafted little tacos are the menu's mainstay, accompanied by all manner of salsas. Hot, fresh cotija-sprinkled tortilla chips with guacamole and elaborate tortas are memorable too - provided you manage to keep your tequila consumption in check, that is.
