Chef Ken Oringer added an Italian-inspired restaurant to his collection including Coppa, Toro and Little Donkey in 2022. (He started the fantastic local line-up with former business partner Jamie Bissonnette, who left the company in 2023 and is now cooking downtown.)
Oringer and his team bring coastal Italian spirit to this lively Back Bay restaurant with plenty of seafood on the Faccia menu, and other fresh ingredients procured in-season from the nearby Copley Square Farmers Market. Navigate your own way through a half dozen crudo options, snacks and small plates like airy, saucy slabs of "grandma bread;" grilled octopus with fava beans and charred leek vinaigrette; pastas (including house-made, celiac-safe options); mains like grilled Scituate lobster and an excellent selection of spritzes.
Downstairs, you'll meet sister Bar Pallino, a hidden natural wine bar with a menu of snacks and drinks curated by acclaimed Oringer group beverage director, Jodie Battles.
