Time Out says

Helmed by Boston celebrity chef Jason Santos, Citrus & Salt is a beachy Mexican restaurant great for going out in a group. After a few years in Back Bay, the restaurant recently moved to a larger location in Fort Point, near the Seaport. With a bejeweled private room plus an outdoor patio, Citrus & Salt has an aesthetic that’s almost as memorable as the food—and the latter features the likes of tortilla-crusted Baja fish tacos, Flam’n Hot Cheeto-crusted street corn, blue crab empanadas and boozy Dole whips. Massive pink floral arrangements, magenta pin spot lighting, colorful floor-to-ceiling murals and crystal chandeliers are just some of the things to look at.

Santos, who stars on Bar Rescue with John Taffer and Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay, has a knack for giving the people what they want at his restaurants, which also include Buttermilk & Bourbon, Nash Bar and Butterbird in Watertown. Chef Zen Hyderck and beverage director Sarah Heimreid lead the team at Citrus & Salt, serving up an extensive raw bar selection of ceviche and oysters, as well as eye-catching cocktails featuring fresh fruit purées, a huge selection of tequila and mezcal, shareable drinks and non-alcoholic agua frescas.

Citrus & Salt serves dinner and drinks nightly as well as lunch Tuesdays-Fridays and weekend brunch.
