Each Year Tuscan Brands celebrates our veterans by welcoming them into their restaurants for a meal on the house on Veterans Day at their restaurants in and around Boston.

On November 11, Tuscan Kitchen, Tuscan Sea Grill & Bar and Toscana Italian Chop House will be serving a complimentary family style meal to veterans and their guest from 11am to 4pm. This tradition has taken place each year since 2010 and Tuscan Brands has served over fifteen thousand veterans. And this year alone, owner Joe Faro is hoping to feed over four thousand veterans and their guests.

How can veterans participate in the Tuscan Brands celebration?

Veterans that live in a town with a Tuscan Brands restaurant are invited to RSVP by calling their local restaurant and letting them know the time they are planning to attend. Each veteran is welcome to bring with them one guest.

What type of meal will be offered?

Guests can expect a traditional Italian feast starting with Tuscan Kitchen’s signature Penne Bolognese, followed by a Roast Pork Tenderloin paired with Yukon gold mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. And for dessert they will enjoy a freshly baked cookie and Italian dark roasted coffee.

When is Veterans Day 2022?

Veterans Day is always celebrated on November 11 each year. And this year the holiday falls on a Friday.

Why do we celebrate Veterans Day?

Originally called “Armistice Day”, Veterans Day was created to honor the end of World War I. The treaty that ended WWI called for a cease fire on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, i.e. November 11.
