On Friday, April 28, professionals from the Boston area will gather for the 9th annual Toast to St. Jude event, presented by Boghos Properties, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. The event will be held at The State Room in the Financial District, and promises to be a night of mingling, dancing, live entertainment, silent auctions and raffles, all for a good cause.
The Toast to St. Jude committee has set an ambitious goal to reach a major fundraising milestone of over $1 million cumulatively raised since 2013 for the kids and families of St. Jude. Thanks to funds generated from events like this one, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, so they can focus on the care their child needs.
“We are immensely proud to celebrate almost a decade of fundraising for such a worthy cause. Together, we are on track to raise over a million dollars to support the life-saving work of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,” said Samantha Curtin, co-chair of Toast to St. Jude.
To reach this milestone, the event organizers have put together an incredible lineup of event sponsors, including Longwood Group, Definitive Healthcare, Jessica’s Brick Oven, Marcus & Millichap | Griffith Pepdjonovic Group, Scott Farrell + Partners, Michael D'Angelo Landscape Architecture LLC, New England Construction, Reading Skate, The Architectural Team, Inc., The Krantz Family, Anthony & Brittany Nader and Andrew & Meaghan Nader.
All of these sponsors and attendees will help make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families battling childhood cancer. Colton Bradford from WBTS-TV NBC-10 is back to host the event again this year, so it is sure to be quite the night.
Toast to St. Jude will feature a lounge-style reception, followed by dancing, live entertainment, a silent auction and some fun raffles. The planning committee hopes that this year's event will be their most successful yet, and with the continued support of the Boston community, they are well on their way to achieving that goal of raising $1,000,000 since 2013.
