Did you know that there is a restaurant in the heart of Charlestown that serves brunch seven days a week?
The team behind Monument Restaurant and Tavern opened Waverly Kitchen & Bar last Fall and it is worth a visit.
Located at 231 Bunker Hill Street, this pleasant little neighborhood spot is just steps from the Freedom Trail and the Bunker Hill Monument and starts serving brunch every day at 8am and it does not end until 3pm each day. So, whether you have the day off or live down the street and just feel like a leisurely morning, Waverly is worth adding to the list.
The restaurant is the perfect blend of new and old; a slice of classic New England, paired with some fresh charm.
Whether you grab a seat at the bar or by the fireplace, this is just the cozy neighborhood spot we all want around the corner. Watch the chefs from the open kitchen whip up their signature dishes. With a brunch menu filled with sweet and savory favorites like French toast, avocado toast and corned beef hash alongside a cocktail menu to match, this is a restaurant you are sure to come back to again and again.
Can’t miss items include the griddled banana bread, the baklava French Toast and the chicken sandwich. And be sure to wash it all down with either a Bloody Mary or a passionfruit Bellini. The dining room is bright, and the booths are comfy and after a few Bloody Mary’s you won’t want to leave!
While brunch is their specialty, they are also open for dinner and offer delivery and takeout as well!
