It’s Restaurant Week in Portsmouth, NH this week. Through April 29, visitors and locals have the opportunity to explore the culinary offerings of this charming coastal area while enjoying some great deals.
Organized by the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth, Restaurant Week in Portsmouth & the Seacoast features 30 restaurants located in Portsmouth, Rye, Durham, Kittery, and Kittery Point. These restaurants have created special three-course prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner, priced at $25 and $48. This is the perfect excuse to break out of your standard routine to try something new.
Another highlight of Restaurant Week Portsmouth & The Seacoast is the opportunity to sample the unique local brews created by the area's lively independent craft brewery scene, many of which are on tap at the restaurants participating this year. But they also make a fun pre or post dinner spot as well.
Some of the can’t miss restaurants on the list this year are: Ore Nell’s BBQ in Kittery and Vida Cantina in Portsmouth, both of which are owned by James Beard nominee David Vargas; as well as Toscana Italian Chophouse & Wine Bar and Tuscan Market, both of which are in Portsmouth. All of these have some fun menus on the board this week and at $25 for lunch and $48 for dinner, the prices cannot be beat.
