The hot topic of the day (and the weekend) for many of us is “where should we grab drinks?” and if you have been through our guides to the best Irish Bars in Boston and our list of the best things to do for St. Patrick’s Day and you are still looking for another option, you are in luck. We chatted with Celtics legend Paul Pierce and he has some thoughts.
Paul has a new role with Bushmills Irish Whiskey as their official "Ambassador of Truth”, so he is spilling his truth about where to grab drinks in Boston and what to order when you are there if you are interested in trying Bushmills.
So according to Paul Pierce, this is his ideal downtown pub crawl:
- Start off at 21st Amendment for an Irish Mule, hint it is like a Moscow Mule, but made with Whiskey.
- Then head into Silvertone for a Bushmills Ginger and their signature nachos.
- Last but not least, end with a Whiskey Sour at Beantown pub.
"As a city rooted in Irish culture and heritage, there's no better place than Boston to celebrate St. Patrick's Day... and I'd argue that it's the best day of the year in Boston. The camaraderie is truly something special... but at the end of the day for me, it's all about grabbing a Bushmills Irish Whiskey and tuning into the C's - and 21st Amendment, Silvertone and Beantown Pub are my favorite places to do so!"
