Get ready to sink your teeth into your new favorite burger: Nu Burger, available exclusively at Time Out Market Boston.
You'll be the talk of the table when you introduce your foodie friends to the Market's latest incubator project, a brand new, innovative approach to burgers from Chef Nina Festekjian of anoush'ella. If you’ve tried Chef Nina’s take on the exotic flavors of her hometown of Beirut, Lebanon, buckle up for another taste explosion by way of her innovative beefy concoctions.
“Our inspiration behind Nu Burger is to bring a fresh new approach to the local burger scene, with globally-inspired varieties such as a Korean Bulgogi burger, Pesto Basilico burger (a twist on the Italian caprese salad), and vegetarian options such as a spicy cauliflower-quinoa veggie burger with avocado-pistachio pesto,” says Festekjian. “Similar to anoush’ella, our approach and philosophy is to make sure all the ingredients are of the highest and freshest quality. Our vision is to have Boston experience the way the world eats burgers.”
Festekjian and her team have partnered with local purveyors like A&J King Artisan Bakers, Little Leaf Farms and Maitland Mountain Farm. “We make sure we use Angus beef — free of antibiotics, steroids and hormones — sourced from the best ranches,” explains Festekjian. Take a culinary trip around the globe with a juicy Nu Burger as your guide.
If beefy, 'Gram-worthy options like the Artisan (boursin, roasted tomato, pickled onion) and the Umami Truffle (pecorino, truffle, fried egg, arugula, aioli) don’t strike your fancy, the spicy cauliflower burger might just change the way you view veggie burgers forever.
