Boston might not be the first city that comes to mind when one thinks of gourmet fried chicken, but Ms. Clucks Deluxe is changing that perception one delectable chicken sandwich and order of karaage chicken at a time. This crunchy, perfectly flavored poultry carries quite the pedigree; Ms. Clucks comes from Hojoko chef de cuisine Rob Wong and Tim and Nancy Cushman, the culinary power couple behind o ya. The trio is behind a pair of new breakthrough concepts: Ms. Clucks Deluxe and gogo ya, both of which are only available at Time Out Market Boston.

An instant crowd favorite — and one of Time Out Market's most 'Gram-worthy dishes — is the Cajun karaage chicken sando, which combines a spicy crispy chicken thigh, Nueske's bacon, heirloom tomato, iceberg lettuce, dashi pickles and nori buttermilk ranch.

For the full-on fried chicken experience, go with the karaage chicken and waffle fries. The plate of crunchy goodness gets loads of flavor from umami salt, miso maple syrup and yuzu kosho aioli.

"Time Out is a go-to guide to many cities so we thought it was really cool to be invited to the new Time Out Market and be side by side with other chefs and colleagues whom we greatly respect in the city," explains Tim Cushman. "We wanted to offer delicious twists on chicken and dumplings at Ms. Clucks Deluxe Chicken & Dumplings. We always try to create an unexpected experience or offer something most people haven’t ever tried before."

Other highlights at Ms. Clucks Deluxe include chicken, broccoli and cheddar gyoza with a crispy cheesy frico crust, and spicy chicken and dumpling noodle soup, which includes a 48-hour bone broth, spicy ground soboro chicken, ramen noodles, truffled chicken dumplings and green onion.
