Moxies celebrated their Boston opening with Flecha Azul Tequila this past week and Mark Wahlberg surprised Bostonians with his attendance.
“Moxies has been a great partner to me and Flecha Azul Tequila and I'm thrilled to get to celebrate the opening in my hometown,” said Mark Wahlberg. Wahlberg is the principal investor behind Flecha Azul Tequila and toasted to the restaurant opening. In fact the The Moxies bar team also served up a new signature cocktail: ‘The Marky Marg’, a pineapple basil-based margarita made with Flecha Azul Blanco Tequila.
Media personalities, athletes and other interesting locals cheers the opening of the new bar in the Seaport. Just steps from Leader Bank Pavilion, Moxies has a menu filled with items like steak bites and roasted tomato bruschetta and even has a fresh oyster shucking station.
When it comes to drinks, there is lots of tequila from Flecha Azul on the menu including the Añejo, Blanco, Reposado and Cristalino.
While drinks flowed and food was passed, guests were able to take in the over 13,000 square feet of dining space, which includes two levels with views of the Boston Harbor. The space also features a grand staircase, contemporary lighting, a vintage mirror spanning both floors and lots of white marble.
The public opening date is planned for October 5. But in the meantime check out our list of the best restaurants in the Seaport.
