Summer’s in the air and so is Father’s Day, which falls this coming weekend, on Sunday, June 18. If you’re scrambling for ideas about how to celebrate your dad, or the dad in your life, look no further. We found fun daytime activities for the whole family, luxurious prime rib and seafood sure to delight and even a few vegan options (with local beer pairings) that are worth checking out. All Kings locations will be offering a $10 burger and beer special from Friday, June 16th to Sunday, June 18th. The special will include a pint of Sam Adams Summer Ale and a mouthwatering Double Smashburger, alongside tons of bowling, fun, and games, of course!

Guests can come and gather at the suburban oasis and be surrounded with summer vibes, rock to the live music, play fun outdoor games or kick back on the Adirondack chairs while enjoying Sam Adams Seasonal Beer and Tuscan’s delicious creative cocktails! The seasonal cocktails and beers pair perfectly with the Beer Garden bites menu items like freshly shucked local oysters, Italian classics like Caprese Bruschetta and Fichi Pizzetta with fig jam & prosciutto and a delicious Grass-Fed Burger with onion jam and calabiran aioli topped with fontina cheese served with truffle fries!

Take Dad to a Pig Roast at the Liberty Hotel

Skip the backyard grilling and head to The Liberty Hotel for Father's Day this year for a Father’s Day Pig Roast! Taking place on Sunday, June 18th at 3 pm. on The Liberty Hotel's outdoor courtyard, The Yard, the not-to-miss Father's Day feast includes a whole roasted suckling pig served alongside slow-cooked St. Louis pork ribs, spicy creole shrimp and cheddar grits, and a wide variety of other delicious dishes from Executive Chef Daniel Kenney. There will be a children’s buffet available as well. Drinks are available a la carte. DJ Skoolyahd followed by Conscious Reggae Band will bring the tunes to the party. Whole Pig Roast at Urban Hearth

There is more than one pig roast in town this weekend! Urban Hearth, in collaboration with Talulla, is hosting a Father’s Day ‘La Caja China’ party on the Urban Hearth patio. On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 18th from 12 to 9pm, join Chef Erin Miller and Chef Conor Dennehy as they deliver an enticing dining adventure for dad (and anyone who enjoys BBQ or a good time!) with La Caja China traditional whole pig roasting in addition to music, signature Lamplighter beer and libations for the occasion, and yard games. Tickets are $80 per person and $5 of each ticket will go directly to Commonwealth Kitchen and the Black Economic Council of MA.

Go Vegetarian With Trillium Brewing and Clover Food Lab’s Father’s Day Box

If dad is off meat for ever, or just for now, this collaboration with Clover Food Lab and Trillium might be the perfect surprise for Father’s Day. The Massachusetts based duo are teaming up for a beer pairing box. The Father’s Day Box is full of hearty snacks such as nachos, chickpea “wings” and corn fritters that pair perfectly with a mixed 4-pack add-on of Trillium brews. Order now through Thursday, June 15 by 5 PM for pick-up or delivery within 30 miles of 1075 Cambridge Street on Saturday, June 17th .
