Why visit San Juan, Puerto Rico
San Juan is a destination that is perennially popular with Bostonians due to the many flight options from Logan. And while many of us may think of it as a bachelor/bachelorette party stop, there is so much more to the city. Old San Juan is home to 15th century architecture and stunning hole-in-the-wall restaurants, outdoor activities abound from bioluminescence bays to rainforests to world class beaches, all within a stone’s throw from the airport. Puerto Rico is only four hours away on one of the many nonstop routes from Logan. JetBlue, Spirit and Delta all offer nonstop routes. Also, don’t forget that Puerto Rico is a part of the United States, so no passport required!
