Actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame were all over Boston over the weekend, pouring drinks and shaking hands to promote their brand of mezcal, Dos Hombres.
The duo, who were not dressed in the hazmat suits they wore on the show, were spotted at Time Out Market, Trillium Brewing and Seaport restaurant Grace by Nia, and fans were thrilled to say hello.
Based on social media, it looks like the two stopped by Trillium Fenway on Sunday afternoon and took photos with owners JC and Esther Tetreault, before making their way to a packed event at Time Out Market where they poured drinks and shots for excited fans.
One fan wrote, “Such a great event, got to take pics and meet both Aaron and Bryan super nice personable guys.” He shared some fun photos on his Instagram as well, showing both actors behind the bar smiling and flashing the peace sign. Cranston was wearing a blue button down shirt, and Paul a colorful sweater and beanie. They fit right in with the crowd!
Besides shots, the duo poured drinks created by Time Out Market Assistant General Manager and Beverage Director, Matt Harding, including Mezcal Me Maybe, Mezcal Mule, Naked and Famous and a Michelada, all made with Dos Hombres.
Following the afternoon event at Time Out Market, Cranston and Paul mixed up cocktails at Grace by Nia, one of the newer additions to the bustling Seaport neighborhood. They took more photos with fans and mingled with the crowd, who showed the actors what a great night out in Boston looks like.
Actor Bryan Cranston has been a familiar face for decades, first famously starring in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, before taking a turn to drama in one of the most critically acclaimed series of all time, Breaking Bad. His friendship with fellow actor Aaron Paul, who also starred on the show, and in the spin off moving El Camino, grew into a partnership that launched Dos Hombres. The two have been on a non-stop tour promoting their mezcal and having way too much fun doing so. You can follow along at the brand’s Instagram account.
