MOSCOT is a 108-year-old New York City-based eyewear brand, and it just opened its first location in Boston. Located on Newbury Street, which as we all know is one of the coolest places in Boston again, MOSCOT joins a slew of high-end boutiques opening around the city.

Harvey Moscot is not only the CEO, but also the fourth generation to run this family business.  “As a graduate of Boston University and The New England College of Optometry, my time in Boston has greatly shaped my career as an O.D., and as person. I hold many dear memories of my time on campus. I’m thrilled to return to my home-away-from-home with this next step of MOSCOT’s domestic expansion.” He said in a release.

The new location offers full-service for all things eyewear, including eye exams, fittings and of course a retail experience. The space is filled with stylish mid-century modern decor, allowing the frames to do the talking. There are currently MOSCOT stores in all over the US, Europe and Asia and now 142 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02116.

The new Boston location is currently open 11-7pm every day, except Sundays when they are open 12-6pm.
