Time Out says

Dress to impress (think glam and guitars) for Boston Music Project’s biggest night out on April 10 at The Grand Boston in the Seaport. "Playing with Purpose: A Rock Symphony" is a high-energy, genre-bending night that blows away the boring and traditional gala notions. Classical collides with rock, featuring electric violinist Violin Viiv, BMP’s All-Star Rock Symphony, a world-premiere collaboration with Project Mishram, and an epic dance party to close out the night. Beginning with exclusive bites, cocktails, and ViolinViiv at the pre-show VIP Reception at 6pm, doors then open at 7pm and performances begin at 7:45pm. All this beautiful music supports the Boston Music Project (BMP) and its vision to decrease the disparity in access to the arts by ensuring the long-term social-emotional and musical success of Boston youth. BMP serve more than 2,300 Pre-K through 12th grade students each year across 23 Boston schools. “Playing with Purpose” is a 21+ event.
