Experience the incredible story of the three African American women who worked at NASA who served as the brains behind the launch into orbit of astronaut John Glenn, at two free screenings of Hidden Figures (2016) at the Museum of Science’s Mugar Omni Theater on Mar. 22. As New England’s only IMAX Dome screen, you’ll have two opportunities to watch the visionary trio – Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer), and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) – cross all gender and racial lines and inspire generations to contribute their stunning achievement that turned around the space race. Showings are held at 5 and 8pm. This film is free, thanks to the generosity of MathWorks.
