It’s Vacation Week, but don’t panic. Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department have you covered with their annual Children's Winter Festival. Held on the Boston Common Parade Ground (at the corner of Beacon and Charles Streets) on Feb. 19 from 11am-2 pm, the free family-friendly festival offers music, dancing, giveaways, winter activities, treats, and crafts to keep your little ones busy. Featured attractions include large inflatable installations like the All-Star Challenge, Fun House Maze, and Candy Cane Obstacle Course; rides on the Trackless Train, the Alpine Slide, the Snow Throw; and more. Channel your inner builder at the LEGO Discovery Center station, try your musical skills at Boston Music Group’s instrument “petting zoo,” and enjoy farm fresh milk from New England Dairy’s Mobile Dairy Bar.
