While it’s no secret that Boston—one of the oldest cities in the nation, home to some of the most notorious sports teams in the world, a top university mecca, a food lover’s paradise—is a superior vacation destination, the new Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport makes the city even more enchanting than ever. Ideally positioned in the heart of the bustling Seaport District just steps from downtown, Boston Harbor, and less than three miles from Logan Airport, the hotel’s proximity to a myriad of enticing attractions make it a perfect haven for visitors and staycationers alike.

It’s the hotel’s amenities, though, that are the real draw: a heated rooftop pool, a luxe day spa and six unique restaurants are all on offer, giving you little need to leave the property during your visit. Whether you opt to stay onsite or explore the neighboring sights and bites, these are the very best reasons to stay at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport. (And make sure to check out a promotion you will not want to ignore.)

1. The food

It’s a tough call to determine the type of food Boston is most famous for, but visitors to the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport will have their choice of the best and most diverse cuisine the city has to offer. There are six places to dine onsite at the hotel, including the Mediterranean-inspired Kestra, a modern sports bar called The Sporting Club, the lobby bar Crescendo, Lifted Restaurant, a fifth-floor, pool-adjacent, tropical-leaning, open-air dining establishment overlooking the Boston skyline, Coquette, a gorgeous restaurant serving dishes influenced by Basque cuisine, and a cafe-meets-boulangerie called Cocorico. If you’re looking to head off campus for a nearby meal, you can’t go wrong with these spots in the Seaport.

2. The spa

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport’s Breve Spa offers treatments that aim to tow the line between modern and classic, offering one-of-a-kind indulgences that will take your mind and body far beyond the confines of the bustling city outside. If you’re in need of a true escape, go for the Spring Harmony Daycation package ($490), which includes access to the hotel’s rooftop pool and fitness center, a 60-minute massage, a facial, and a $40 credit at the fifth floor cocktail bar, Lifted.

3. The rooftop pool & hot tub

Did we mention there’s a rooftop pool? It bears repeating: the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport has a rooftop pool and hot tub, boasting lovely views of the city skyline and seaport district below (and it’s heated and open year-round!). And, if you’re looking for something special and different to do this summer, there will be a monthly music series taking place on the pool deck. While the pool is typically only accessible to guests, visitors can purchase day passes from Breve Spa. (It’s also good to note that, beginning Memorial Day weekend, the pool becomes adults only from 3–10pm.)

4. Distinctive room options

Hotel guests get to choose between two distinct towers to select where they stay. Rooms in the Patron Tower are spacious and stylish, making them ideal for luxe family trips and decadent friend group getaways. If you’re looking to really indulge, the 1,600-square-foot Director and Choreographer Suites are worth the splurge. The Artist Tower Rooms, while smaller, are designed to feel like artist lofts, with exquisite decors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and stunning skyline views. They’re ideal for solo travelers who appreciate style, comfort and the perfect location.

5. The state-of-the-art fitness center

There are two kinds of people: those who work out on vacation, and those who…don’t. If you’re (also) in the latter category, the 3,000-square-foot gym onsite at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport just may be gorgeous and well-appointed enough to convert you (us). Not only is it filled with top-line equipment, but it’s also outfitted with Peloton bikes, and just in case you “forgot” your workout clothes, you can borrow gear from local athletic apparel atelier NOBULL through the hotel’s onsite lending program (available to Artist Tower guests only).

6. Pet-friendly accommodations

If you’ve ever tried to travel with a pet, you know too well how not accommodating the experience can be. Enter Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport: the ultimate pet-friendly property includes posh pet amenities designed to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay for guests of the two-legged and four-legged varieties alike. Note: pets are limited to dogs and cats no larger than 25 pounds.

7. The stunning art onsite

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport was designed around music and performing arts, an ethos that has definitively permeated the hotel’s decor. Upon entering, you’ll be instantly struck by the lobby’s immersive art collection, an awe that continues at every turn throughout the property. Each onsite eatery has its own distinct design aesthetic. And then there are the rooms, which are curated with artistic expression in mind. And in keeping with its passion for the performing arts in addition to visual art, the hotel also hosts a weekly live music series.

8. The neighborhood vibe

Boston’s Seaport District is known for its trendy shopping, destination dining, and festive energy, making it a perfect landing place for visitors of all ages and stripes, from near and far. In addition to all of the aforementioned attractions, the area is also home to several museums (the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Boston Children's Museum, the Boston Fire Museum, and the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum) and waterfront parks, as well as one of the city’s largest outdoor amphitheaters.

Longer Days, Longer Stays promotion

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is currently running the Longer Days, Longer Stays campaign giving guests 10% off for a one night stay, 15% off for a two night stay, and 20% for a three night stay. This and other great offers can be found here!
