The Theatre District wasn't always an entirely savory place to hang out. After the curtain calls, theatergoers have long been known to scuttle off toward posh spots by the park, or to the clubs off Boylston Street across the Common. The Intermission, though, holds court in the 'hood as one of the only down-to-earth joints to grab some quality pub grub and a pre-show beer - or a post-show cocktail, if it's not too crowded. Leave your drama at the door, please.
