About as unpretentious as they come, the Hub is a throwback to a time before bars had to be trendy. What you see is what you get: a Golden Tee Golf machine, a projection TV to watch the Sox and a laminated bar adorned with mementos from Boston's past. Bar staff are friendly, the beer's cold and the cheese fries are top-notch. What more do you need?
