The Italian North End is one of the areas in Boston you'd least expect to find an Irish pub, but Goody Glover's - named for a local Irish-Catholic woman who was hanged as a witch in 1688 - occupies pride of place at the corner of Salem Street. The Guinness is delicious, of course, but so is the unusual menu, offering fried reubens and grilled potato and cheese sandwiches.
