Red Bull Heavy Metal Snowboarding at City Hall Plaza
This Saturday Boston City Hall Plaza will be turned into a snowboarding park when Red Bull Heavy Metal brings some of the country’s top snowboarders together for a day of competition. The event will take place on Feb. 22 from 2:30 to 6pm and will be led by X Games Gold Medalist and Snowboarding phenom Zeb Powell. The event is free to the public, and the 300 tons of snow (that's 20 truckloads, for those keeping count) it'll take to make this a winter wonderland will be shipped in from Loon Mountain, the official mountain sponsor of Red Bull Heavy Metal.
