In Beirut, if you want chicken, you don’t need to take the sort of perilous journey that could fill three epic films; you can take the short and (goblin-free) journey to Lord of the Wings. As the name suggests, chicken is the main attraction; if you want wings, then you’ll be spoilt for choice. With three different cooking styles and a total of 16 different sauces, the menu clocks up 48 distinct taste combinations. These range from third-degree-burn inducing spiciness to something more sweet and succulent. If you don’t want wings, they do have other items, including good DIY burger options and sandwiches and a few mains. Fun, but not for the diet-conscious diner.
