If, so far, you have only managed to walk to Tartine Bakery in the morning, while still wearing your slippers to grab a loaf of bread, then you’ve been missing out on Bar Tartine. Yes, it serves bread, but it also got some plenty more on the extensive menu. It doesn’t matter if you're going for breakfast, lunch or dinner; Bar Tartine has a menu for it. The Bar Tartine breakfast special is great way to start the day, coming with an omelette, a croissant, toast and jam, a coffee and juice you’ll be sated after the long night. When lunch comes around, tuck into the chicken quinoa salad and once the sun has dropped away you’ve got a plethora of dishes to pick from.
Bar Tartine operates in a few locations around the city, with this branch in Mar Mikhael being our favourite. It’s one of the few places where you can eat outside without being disturbed by the traffic in our busy city and the sheltered and beautifully restored courtyard is an idyllic spot to eat in. Bar Tartine is consistently top-notch eatery so if you do fall in love with this location look out for its sisters in Achrafieh and Dbayeh.
