Any night at The Grand Factory starts on a bit of a high, with the novelty of getting to the dance floor via an old goods elevator. As anticipation builds, you imagine them sliding open the large metal door to reveal an expansive dance floor with flashing lights, blaring music and the hedonistic grinding of the Beirut party scene. In reality, they open the large metal sliding door and you see none of that. You hear the music, but in front is merely a black wall. But don’t worry; all these things are hidden from view behind that wall.
