Young Gallery Weekend

For three days, 25 artists from various disciplines including photography, illustration, painting, video art, and installation are dotted around seven spaces in the city to promote Young Gallery Weekend, where a group of galleries that regularly schedule innovative exhibitions will show the work of independent talents who they want to promote. It's a cultural event that serves as encouragement to young art galleries and the spread of culture in all its forms. Involved in the event are Art Photo BCN, El Catascopio, Espronceda Center for Art & Culture, Escalera de Incencios, La Plataforma, Oslo Graphic Barceloneta and Sardinuka. Apart from the exhibitions, on Saturday, October 3, there will be a free, guided tour of the different participating galleries and a cooking demonstration at La Plataforma.
