The Manga Fair is back, and this year it's a full-on Japanese cultural invasion. Something new this year in the 20th edition is the creation of a space called The Spirit of Japan, dedicated to Japanese traditions, culture and natural therapies. This is where you'll find an exhibition of Ikebana created by Reiko Ishitmatus, from the Ikebana Bonsai school; a showing of masks of mythological Japanese beings Kappa and Yokai, put on by the Wa Rei Ryu association; and an exhibition dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Barcelona Manga Fair. There will also be workshops on macrobiotic cooking, how to wear a kimono, and Japanese natural therapies, among others. Dive in and immerse yourself in the Land of the Rising Sun.
