World Music Day at L'Auditori and the Museu de la Música

World Music Day collides with the summer solstice on June 21 as L'Auditori and the Museu de la Música feature various free performances and things to do. The fun begins at 6.30pm Thursday the 20th with an outdoor concert from the museum’s group, Gamelan Penempaan Guntur (Gamelan of the forge of thunder), at La Llanterna de L'Auditori. The concert marks the beginning of Open Doors days at the museum, which are Thursday from 6pm to 9pm and Friday from 10am to 6pm. The programme is rounded out with a free concert by the ESMUC Symphony Orchestra (Thu 20, 8pm), and the now-traditional free concert of the OBC at the beach (Fri 21, 9pm) to ring in summer.
