Welcome to the third edition of ÚS Barcelona, a festival of art and public spaces in the city, which operates in the spirit of rescuing disused spaces in Barcelona and giving them life through art and citizen participation. The first edition transformed once-empty spaces in Encants Vells, and the second was set up in a stretch of road along C/Pere IV; now this edition is on in an emblematic and historic space, Can Ricart, in Poblenou, which is considered one of the great architectural monuments to industrial Catalan heritage of the 19th century.
Throughout the day (from 10am to 11pm), the programme is free and open to the public, with urban art, workshops, conferences, music, an art market, and spaces to eat. Artists including Ulises Mendicutty, Jofre Oliveras, Igor Nunes, Yoshi Sislay, Mr Sis, Claudio Drë, Daniela Carvalho and Irene López fill Can Ricart with graphic art and murals. You can also enjoy live music with Pulmon, Wolf Saxon, Sonoro Dub & Ras Zohen and GAZ; DJ sets with eFonik and Daveetee; and a special programme dedicated to the little ones, who have their own festival in the form of Ús Kids, where they can paint and draw with artist La Castillo.
