Artist, filmmaker, photographer and key figure in the new German cinema Ulrike Ottinger brings 'Freak Orlando' (1981), her own version of Virginia Woolf's 'Orlando', to the MACBA's Capella this summer. The film stars a cast of strange characters who bring to mind the outcasts in the film 'Freaks' (1932) by Tod Browning and photographer Diane Arbus.
