La Ruta del Boom Latinoamericano (The Latin American Boom Route) invites you to get to know places, people and ideas from one of the biggest literary movements in the 20th century, which arrived to and triumphed in Barcelona in the '60s and '70s. During this route you'll pass along streets and visit some of the places that authors from the Boom frequented, including Bar Glaciar, Pastís and El Molino; restaurants Amaya, Los Caracoles and Casa Leopoldo, among other spaces where the wave of writers met up. Along the way you'll get to know more about the lives of greats of literature such as Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa, José Donoso and Julio Cortázar while they were in Barcelona. The meeting point is the Muelle de las Drassanes (Drassanes pier), in front of the Golondrinas station.
