Can it be? Yes! It's time for a new edition of the sessions known as the Pulpada Electrònica (Electronic Octopus Party, obviously), where you can get quality octopus (the star dish in any Galician restaurant), amid waves of electronic music. Your hosts are the Torre del Rellotge, providing the sea-adjacent location, and the Cofradía de Pescadores fishermen's association, serving up the very local seafood that's prepared by the fishermen who caught it and brought it in on their boats. Music is of course also an important part of the festival, with five renowned DJs from the local underground scene – LKGT, Yohit, Troya Modet, Lvcha and Houdini – spinning music at the impressive Patio de Redes at the pier. At the foot of the Torre del Rellotge, you'll find a space reserved for a market selling vinyl records and shows by urban artists and performers. There's also a special area for kids.
Starting at 1pm, the Pulpada is jumping in with all eight legs and carrying on until 11pm. Entry is completely free until the space is full. There's even an option to get there on the Golondrina boat with free service, with departures starting at 12.30pm at Las Golondrinas at the pier Moll de les Drassanes, 2 (in front of the Columbus statue). Long live the Pulpada!
