Time Out says

The Poblenou Cemetery tour covers approximately 100 years of history of the funerary enclosure (and the city), from its foundation in 1775 until 1888, when the Universal Exposition was held for the first time in Barcelona. The cemetery offers a display of different periods and sty1es of some of the most important architects and sculptors of the 19th and 20th centuries. You'll also discover collective events and personal anecdotes that support the rich fabric of connections that exist between the city and the cemetery. The one-hour free guided tour is offered in English on Tuesday, August 4 and in French on Friday, August 7 (both at 11am).
