Barcelona's Jardí Botànic (Botanic Gardens) celebrates the arrival of autumn once again with 'Plànta't al Botànic!', a festival full of activities for all ages where you can discover secrets of the gardens. The weather is the theme of this celebration that offers original workshops such as cloud creation, among the more than 20 other ideas that will have you enjoying a whole day outdoors. There will be storytelling for children under the trees, a workshop on placing rings on birds, another on observing the animals that live in the ponds, and much more. If you want, you can even help the Botanical Garden workers plant some of the 700 plants they'll be working with during the day or collect fruits and seeds to study later in the laboratory, or sign up for guided tours of the gardens or of the Salvador Cabinet, a treasure of Barcelona scientific heritage. To close out the fiesta there will be a big chestnut feast and music. This year's Fall Festival also features guest Francesc Mauri, who will give a talk called 'Climate change: what can we do?'
