Sunday November 26 is a day of Open Doors at the Palau de la Música Catalana, an event that last year brought in 6,000 visitors. The day, or half-day, starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm, during which time you can look around the concert hall as well as the Lluís Millet room, which, the Palau describes as an intermission hall on the main floor, where you can take a break. The space is two storeys high and features massive stained-galss windows that look out onto the balcony colonnade of the main façade. From there you can enjoy a garden of columns, each one different and crowned by stone capitals with floral motifs, a characteristic feature of the architect, Lluís Domènech i Montaner.
