Oktoberfest 2015

Oktoberfest, better known as the Beer Festival, is one of Germany's main historic and cultural celebrations, and takes place each year in the Bavarian city of Munich – nowadays it's regarded as the world's biggest popular festival. This year, Barcelona's Oktoberfest runs from October 2 to 11 in Plaça de l'Univers of the Fira de Barcelona on Montjuïc – and it's free! In a 4,000m2 marquée (we suggest reserving a table on the festival's website) and at various bars, visitors can enjoy one-litre pitchers of good beer, there'll be live music from polka groups and DJs, traditional Bavarian food to try, lots of fun, and lots of German Paulaner beer. There will also be a kids' zone and activities for all ages, as well as a VIP area with exclusive services.
